Morris Lohan Associates offer a wide variety of services, from planning for large commercial or domestic devolopments to small extensions, right through to snag lists and final site surveys. Click on a list item for a brief description of the service;
Planning applications
The first step in this process is to meet with the client and decide the best way forward for your project. Once this has been agreed we then prepare the Planning Permission Application and lodge the application to the relevant offices of the Local Authority. We keep track of the application and relay all information regarding the application.
Site Surveys
We can survey the boundaries of a property being for sale so that the Title Maps matches the boundaries exactly as they are constructed on the ground. As part of our service we can mediate between the Purchaser and Vendor onsite to survey the property being sold.
Structural Reports
Morris Lohan Associates can carry out a thorough structural survey of the property in the form of a formal report, which outlines the structural integrity of the building and also outlines any problems that may exist and that could arise in the future.
Snag Lists
Morris Lohan Consulting Engineering carry out an extensive snag list service to ensure that your property is finished to the highest standard. Once this snag list is complete we issue the Vendor and Purchaser with a copy of the snag list and work with both to ensure that the snags are carried out to our satisfaction.
Percolation Tests
We at Morris Lohan Planning Services are fully registered to carryout Trial-Hole and Percolation Tests in accordance with the latest edition of the E.P.A. Manual for Single Dwelling Houses and Multiple Developments. We will consult with the client on the location of test holes in order to ascertain the suitability for the percolation. We are panel member of approved site assessors in the following counties:Donegal, Leitrim, Westmeath, Meath & Kildare.
Project Management
We can provide a project management service to accompany our planning applications, where we will supervise the project from start to finish to ensure the development complies with the required standards.
Structural Design
Morris Lohan Associates offer full quantity surveying services for your building projects. This server includes monthly financial assessments of construction for banking institutions.
Fire Safety
We can provide Fire Safety Engineers to meet the needs of fire consultation issues on any project. We will assess clients needs and find the most cost effective and practical way to achieve a safe effective design.
